As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for shaping the global business direction of the Appliance sector. This includes developing strategies, guiding execution, providing competitive analyses, and driving new business opportunities. You will play a key role in positioning CSA Group as a market leader by developing customer-centric services, engaging in critical industry events, and building strong client and regulatory relationships.
The role demands high-level strategic thinking, market intelligence, and strong leadership skills to influence business culture across regions. You will collaborate with commercial and regional leaders to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth of CSA Group’s Appliance business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the global Appliance business strategy.
Provide input and direction for Appliance program development, technical guidance, and standards creation.
Conduct business analysis, market intelligence, and competitive data assessment.
Recommend strategic business opportunities based on ROI and market positioning.
Represent CSA Group at key industry and regulatory events to promote services and build relationships.
Collaborate with regional leaders on hiring and operations to ensure a customer-centric approach.
Partner with global strategic account management to support client needs and profitability.
Influence organizational culture and drive execution within a matrix environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Structured project management experience in deploying initiatives.
Strong decision-making ability in situations with limited data.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex business challenges.
Minimum 4 years of strategic leadership (regional or global accountability) in a product group or technology sector.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills with the ability to influence across regions.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and align within a matrix structure.
