Business Intelligence (bi) Architect

 

Description:

  • Work closely with partners from multiple teams (technical and nontechnical) in solving ambiguous problems through defining requirements, developing critical metrics, and articulating solutions
  • Design data warehouse models, carry out source data analysis and profiling, design the logical and physical structure of the data warehouse, as well as manage the data integration and data transformation pipelines in dbt™
  • Implement data models and dashboards, applying the appropriate data privacy policies
  • Develop Snowflake deployment and usage of standard methodologies.
  • Help educate the rest of the team members on the capabilities and limitations of Snowflake
  • Prototype, develop and support company-wide analytics and dashboards using Tableau
  • Validate data quality issues, and assist other team members validate data quality issues
  • Have the ability to think independently while also working in a collaborative environment.
  • Not be afraid to ask for help, voice your opinion, or make suggestions for improvements.
  • Have the collaboration skills to build and enhance a successful Analytics department

What skills you bring:

  • Experience designing and developing data integration solutions using dbt™
  • Hands-on experience in developing on, and administering cloud data warehouses using Snowflake
  • Hands-on experience in applying RBAC on data warehouses and Tableau dashboards
  • Experience in leading security groups in Tableau across multi-functional and regional teams
  • Proficiency in SQL and database table design – able to write structured and efficient queries on data sets
  • Experience in performing data warehouse and analytics solution design and development
  • Ability to understand data pipelines using cloud-based technologies
  • Understanding of data architecture design, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning using the Kimball Methodology
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Snowflake certifications
