Description:

Mastercard is seeking a Consultant – Business Experimentation to join its Advisors & Consulting Services division based in Toronto, ON. This hybrid, full-time position is a unique opportunity for data-driven professionals to influence strategic decisions for global clients across various industries by leveraging Mastercard’s proprietary analytics platform, Test & Learn®.

The Business Experimentation specialization plays a critical role in helping clients measure the effectiveness of their initiatives through business experiments, providing actionable recommendations on what works, why, and how to scale solutions. You will be instrumental in using Mastercard’s rich datasets and analytics tools to help organizations optimize their operations, improve customer experience, and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Impact:

  • Contribute creative insights across diverse industries and business challenges.

  • Leverage Test & Learn® and data science tools to support client strategies.

  • Build trusted relationships with client teams and internal stakeholders.

  • Guide clients in adopting Test & Learn® and improve their decision-making through experimentation.

Team Collaboration & Culture:

  • Work with senior consultants to synthesize findings, build presentations, and present solutions to clients.

  • Identify analytical opportunities and lead discussions with clients and internal teams.

  • Manage workstreams and participate in project planning and client meetings.

  • Develop intellectual capital and engage in mentorship and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree with experience in consulting, technology, or data analytics.

  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.

  • Structured thinker with an analytical mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, multi-client environment.

  • Fluent in English and legally eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

  • Background in data modeling, segmentation, and statistical analysis.

  • Industry experience in sectors such as banking, payments, retail, or consulting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead workstreams independently.
