Business Development Representative
Department: Sales
Reports to: Vice Present of Business Development
Are you a proactive relationship-builder with a strong hunter mindset? We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify new opportunities and support our growth through targeted outbound prospecting and meaningful, value-driven client engagement.
What You’ll Do:
- Hunt for new business by generating high-quality leads and converting them into customers through proactive outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social selling, and more)
- Execute a high volume of strategic touchpoints to engage and qualify prospective customers
- Research and qualify prospects, identify key decision-makers, and build strong rapport to assess business fit
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team by scheduling and handing over qualified meetings to advance opportunities
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, progressing qualified leads into sales opportunities
- Drive the sales cycle forward through timely follow-ups and consistent engagement with prospects
- Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking daily activities, interactions, and progress
- Support the team with light administrative tasks, including reporting and general office support as required
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in B2B lead generation, inside sales, or business development (preferably in tech or communications)
- Proven ability with outbound prospecting including cold calls, emails and social media outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, resilient, and results-driven
- Coachable with strong time management skills
- Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Experience in distribution or channel sales is a plus
