Business Development Representative

Description:

The Supervisor, Production and Sewing is responsible for coordinating and planning daily activities of sewing machine operators to ensure production goals and quality standards are met. This role oversees factory loading schedules, assigns operators to tasks, manages production efficiency, performs quality checks, and maintains a safe, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise sewing machine operators and daily sewing floor activities

• Review factory loading schedules and plan production accordingly

• Review production samples and specifications before launching production

• Determine operator requirements based on efficiency and daily quotas

• Assign operators to tasks aligned with their skill sets

• Train and guide operators to achieve efficiency and quality standards

• Monitor operator performance and provide regular updates and coaching

• Review payroll to measure efficiencies and identify improvement needs

• Conduct daily quality checks and ensure corrective actions

• Maintain a safe work environment and communicate core company values

Qualifications:

• 5+ years sewing experience (preferably in apparel manufacturing)

• 2–3 years supervisory experience

• Familiar with sewing machine operations

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams

• Ability to stand for extended periods
