Role Overview
The initial three-months of this export internship will follow the Three (3) Month Intern Statement of Work enclosed herein. Following three-month ramp up period, the role is responsible for building new business in the above-noted industries and target client categories in assigned regions. The ideal candidate will pro-actively work to develop new clients and sales opportunities, through cold-calling to qualify potential customers and book in-person meetings to present our value proposition. The market for asset maintenance is growing as lead times for new equipment become longer - this position brings with it a unique opportunity for exponential growth and earnings potential.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue for assigned new target accounts
  • Identify and reach out to new target customers in decision-making roles in the industries we serve, to develop new business
  • Daily outreach by phone to qualify potential customers and book meetings - with the goal of assessing the size of their transformer fleets and substations numbers, and project needs relevant to our service offerings
  • Travel regularly to attend in-person meetings to develop new business, identify specific project opportunities to be quoted, and to maintain your existing clientele as you develop your book of business
  • Maintaining data/activity in CRM daily
  • Attend regular team building and pricing meetings with management and colleagues in the sales team
