Business Development Assistant

 

Description:

Synergy Enterprises, a purpose-driven climate consultancy and Certified B Corporation based in Victoria, BC, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive & Business Development Assistant to directly support the CEO. Synergy is a leader in helping organizations reduce environmental impacts through carbon accounting, clean technology adoption, and sustainability strategy across industries such as tourism, tech, mining, and transportation.

This role is suited for a solutions-oriented, tech-savvy individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, who is comfortable interacting with senior leaders, coordinating business development activities, and executing administrative support at a high level.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Support:

  • Manage and maintain the CEO’s schedule: internal/external meetings, speaking events, and travel.

  • Serve as liaison for CEO: screen emails, flag critical issues, and draft correspondence.

  • Prepare executive briefing materials, presentation decks, and talking points.

Business Development & Communications:

  • Support drafting proposals, outreach content, and pitch decks.

  • Maintain CRM systems, track leads, and coordinate follow-ups.

  • Organize logistics for BD activities: meetings, presentations, partnership calls, and events.

  • Assist with reporting on outreach efforts, lead conversion, and BD progress metrics.

  • Participate in preparing grant applications and tracking funding opportunities.

  • Help plan Momentum events and strategic outreach initiatives.

Administrative & Project Coordination:

  • Support CEO-led initiatives and cross-department coordination.

  • Assist with onboarding documents and meetings for clients or strategic partners.

  • Manage file organization across shared drives and platforms.

  • Utilize AI tools and modern productivity apps to streamline administrative tasks.
