Business Analyst With Telecom

Description:

The Business Analyst will work primarily within the telecom industry focusing on release management and business analysis tasks. The role involves eliciting and documenting business requirements, creating functional and non-functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep telecom industry knowledge and experience with business analysis methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze telecom industry concepts, trends, and challenges to inform business analysis.

• Manage or contribute to release management activities (preferred).

• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.

• Create detailed functional and non-functional specifications.

• Use business analysis tools and methodologies such as UML, BPMN, and Jira.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical teams, business users, and executives.

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address business needs.

• Facilitate communication and consensus-building among diverse groups.

• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies is a plus.

• Leverage knowledge of telecom systems and technologies including network infrastructure, billing, and CRM systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 10 years of relevant experience in the telecom industry.

• Strong understanding of telecom industry trends and challenges.

• Experience in release management is advantageous.

• Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools (UML, BPMN, Jira).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of telecom systems such as network infrastructure, billing, and CRM.
