Business Analyst

 

Description:

The seasoned Business Analyst (BA/PM) to lead the coordination and implementation of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) standards, with an immediate, targeted focus on resolving current MFA adoption and operational challenges across our European contractor base. In this role, you will diagnose existing access hurdles, define standardized practices, and execute a seamless rollout that aligns security compliance with regional operational realities. You will play a critical part in protecting our clients digital perimeter while ensuring our international workforce remains fully empowered and operational.

Responsibilities
 

  • Strategic Analysis & Direction: Conduct a comprehensive current-state assessment of MFA usage, friction points, and compliance gaps specifically impacting European contractors, culminating in a formal analysis and directional recommendation.
  • Documentation & Frameworks: Develop clear, structured documentation for the entire project lifecycle, including baseline analysis reports, strategic recommendations, process workflows, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Execution & Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of approved MFA changes, technical adjustments, and standardized operational policies across affected business units and contractor groups.
  • Stakeholder & Change Alignment: Partner closely with internal IT security teams, regional leadership, and external contractors to ensure transparent communication and smooth adoption of new access protocols.
     

Qualifications
 

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst eliciting requirements, mapping processes, and bridging technical solutions with business needs.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager leading mid-to-large scale technical implementations.
  • Core Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated, practical expertise in:
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies and deployment strategies.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks.
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) architectures.
  • Conditional Access policies and configurations.
  • Core authentication and authorization concepts.
  • Demonstrated fluency in requirements management, technical documentation, and project reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, MS Project).
  • Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Security Principles: Working knowledge and understanding of Zero Trust security principles and modern perimeter defense models.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with European (and international) labor, privacy, and regulatory considerations (such as GDPR implications) that impact remote workforce authentication deployments.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to align diverse, cross-functional stakeholders, regional leaders, and external vendors toward a unified security objective.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills capable of translating complex technical security concepts into actionable business language for executive leadership and end-users alike.
