Description:
Spin Master, a global leader in children's toys, entertainment, and digital gaming, is seeking a Brand Manager for its Activities division based in Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid). This role is a critical component of the marketing and product development process, with a focus on executing brand strategies and delivering growth and profitability across Spin Master's activity-based product lines.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, collaborative individual with a solid background in consumer products and a keen understanding of the licensing, product development, and go-to-market cycle. You will be the central point of contact for your assigned brands, managing a wide range of functions from forecasting to packaging and brand strategy execution.
Lead the day-to-day management of Activity brands, serving as the primary contact for execution across the business.
Collaborate across functional teams, including product development, design, engineering, and sales to drive brand growth and meet strategic goals.
Manage licensor relationships, aligning on milestones, forecasts, and marketing initiatives.
Oversee P&L performance with a focus on accurate forecasting, pricing, costing, and profitability to meet brand financial goals.
Support execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives such as:
Digital media
Video/TV production
Social media
eCommerce
Trade shows
Branding and packaging
Assist in developing and executing new and existing brand strategies, working alongside the Senior Brand Manager.
Analyze market and POS data to identify insights, trends, and commercial opportunities.
Deliver presentations to internal sales teams and external partners on new brand strategies, performance, and innovation plans.
Prior work experience in the consumer products industry, ideally within the toy, fashion, electronics, or entertainment sectors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong understanding of brand operations and P&L management.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
