Description:

SOCi, the leader in AI-powered marketing solutions for multi-location businesses, is currently looking for an experienced Brand Designer to elevate the creative execution of our marketing initiatives and support a consistent, recognizable visual identity across channels. This role is highly hands-on: you’ll produce polished, performance-oriented design assets for campaigns, product marketing, presentations, sales enablement, and events–working cross-functionally with Marketing and Sales teams. This is an ideal role for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, enjoys shipping high-quality work at speed, and can bring thoughtful problem-solving to a wide variety of projects.

SOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of $65,000 - $90,000 CAD base plus bonuses. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Design campaign and brand assets end-to-end: Create best-in-class creative for digital ads, social graphics, landing page visuals, presentations, event collateral, and other brand touchpoints.
Maintain brand consistency: Apply and uphold SOCi’s brand guidelines across assets to ensure a cohesive, bold, and polished brand presence.
Partner cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Marketing and Sales to translate briefs into clear, effective creative that supports demand gen, thought leadership, and product marketing goals. 
Create lightweight motion + GIF assets: Product simple animations (GIFs / short motion snippets) for social and campaign needs; collaborate with motion/video teammates on concepts, storyboards, specs, and handoffs when more advanced motion is required. 
Work effectively within motion workflows (team): Understand how motion work moves from concept to storyboard to versioning to review to export/specs, and contribute clean inputs that reduce rework.
Operate with speed and organization: Manage multiple projects at once, prioritize effectively, hit deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with clear file/version hygiene.
Use AI-assisted workflows to scale output: Apply AI design tools to accelerate ideation, generate variations, speed production, and improve efficiency–while maintaining brand standards and quality control.\

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

Hybrid Opportunity: This role is fully remote until our Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON offices are established. Once the office is in place, it will transition to a hybrid model, with a 50/50 split between remote and in-office work.
Must Have: 
2-6 years of professional design experience (or equivalent portfolio)
Portfolio demonstrating strong work across digital and print, ideally in B2B SaaS, agentic, or a similarly fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong expertise in Figma for web/campaign design and collaborative workflows
(Advanced) Experience with Canva
Excellent fundamentals in typography, layout, composition, and systems thinking for scalable design
Strong communication and collaboration skills–able to take feedback, iterate quickly, and land high-quality outputs
Project/time management skills to handle multiple deliverables in parallel.
Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
Desired Skills (but not required): 
Ability to create GIFs and lightweight motion assets for marketing campaigns (examples required in portfolio or exercise)
After Effects knowledge (templates, simple text/shape animation, transitions) is a strong plus
Experience using AI design tools to improve speed and scale (e.g., generative fill, image expansion, background/object removal, rapid variation generation, layout exploration, web design)–with clear judgment and brand governance
