TalentSphere Staffing Solutions, on behalf of a leading HVAC manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a Branch Sales Manager to lead their Victoria, BC office. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving sales growth, overseeing branch operations, managing financial performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the team.
The organization is a well-established player in the HVAC industry, with a strong reputation for quality products, reliable service, and a loyal customer base across Vancouver Island. The successful candidate will combine strategic insight with hands-on leadership, ensuring the branch operates efficiently, achieves sales goals, and strengthens its market presence.
Branch Leadership & Financial Management
Take full accountability for the financial and operational success of the Victoria branch.
Manage sales performance, profit margins, and overhead expenses to ensure sustained profitability.
Develop and track annual budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Strategic and Operational Excellence
Lead the execution of strategic initiatives, both short-term and long-term, to grow market share and align with company-wide objectives.
Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements, operational efficiency, and enhanced product offerings.
Collaborate with senior management to refine branch-level goals and develop actionable business plans.
Talent Management & Team Building
Recruit, train, and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Implement structured onboarding programs and create individual development plans to enhance team capability.
Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and recognition to ensure employee engagement and retention.
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC industry trends, competitor movements, customer demands, and regulatory changes.
Represent the company in local and national trade associations to strengthen brand visibility and professional relationships.
Leverage market insights to adjust sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
People & Culture Leadership
Oversee HR and marketing activities at the branch level, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and results-driven work culture.
Lead by example, demonstrating resilience, emotional intelligence, and operational expertise.
Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability across all departments.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience, preferably within the HVAC industry or a related technical sales environment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing branch or business unit operations.
Strong ability to analyze financial statements, interpret performance metrics, and make informed business decisions.
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Base Salary: CAD 120000 – 130000 annually (CAD 10000 – 10833 monthly)
Bonus eligibility based on branch performance and results.
