This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC Amada Brake Press machinery, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency throughout production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC Amada Brake Press machines for metal fabrication tasks.

  • Perform periodic quality checks to ensure work meets exact specifications.

  • Use and maintain precision measuring tools including tape measures, Vernier calipers, and height gauges.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately.

  • Document completed work and maintain production logs for quality tracking.

  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and report any mechanical issues promptly.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

  • Work collaboratively with other production staff to meet daily output goals.

  • Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to ensure a safe work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Brake Press Set-Up Operator.

  • Proficiency in metal fabrication and blueprint reading.

  • Ability to understand both metric and imperial measurements.

  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.

  • Amada Brake Press experience preferred but not mandatory.


Work Schedule:

  • Shift: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
