Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper & Administrative Support to assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks. This role is fully remote with flexible hours and strong potential for growth as the firm expands. This position is ideal for someone with some bookkeeping experience who is detail-oriented, reliable, and looking to grow within a professional bookkeeping firm.

What You’ll Do

Bookkeeping Support

  • Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Upload and organize receipts and supporting documents
  • Assist with month-end bookkeeping tasks
  • Support HST/GST tracking and filings (training provided)

 

Administrative Support

  • Respond to basic client emails
  • Sit in on internal and client meetings as required
  • Draft and update forms, templates, and internal documents
  • Assist with onboarding and other administrative tasks as needed

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Some bookkeeping or accounting experience (education, internship, or hands-on role)
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online
  • Understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals (P&L vs Balance Sheet, debits/credits, reconciliations)
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to follow processes and ask questions when unsure

 

Availability Requirements

· Part time hours to start, gearing towards full time.

· Must be available to cover shifts: Monday – Wednesday: 9am – 3:300pm
