Billing Representative

Description:

The Billing Representative supports the Order-to-Cash function by ensuring accurate and efficient billing delivery. The role involves interpreting complex agreements, collaborating with internal teams, supporting automation initiatives, and providing strong customer service. The Billing Representative contributes to process improvements, integrations, audits, and ensures adherence to billing controls and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet/exceed billing targets through accurate interpretation of legal agreements and purchase orders

• Conduct peer audit reviews and assist in training team members

• Collaborate with Sales and Collections to resolve billing issues and complete account reconciliations

• Partner with global billing teams to improve processes and support automation

• Manage customer/stakeholder inquiries on billing processes and internal controls

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and invoicing policies

• Support acquisition integrations as a subject matter expert

• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist in internal and external audits

• Deliver additional tasks related to the billing mandate

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in software billing (global billing experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of payment portal infrastructure and billing systems

• Experience with SAP, Salesforce is an advantage

• Knowledge of Ariba, Tungsten, Coupa

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to train others and support change management

• Strong organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
