About the role:

Provides technical, project management and/or operational support of a complex nature for assigned areas of the Company, ensuring timely and accurate responses to business and/or functional unit needs

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with business and/or functional management to discuss and respond to their needs for technical, project management and/or operational support. Develop related plans, budgets and timeframes as appropriate.
  • Provide technical, project management and/or operational support of a complex nature for assigned areas of the Company.
  • Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of responses, adherence to internal policies and external regulations and maximized contribution to economic profit. Coordinate activities with other areas of the Company as required to ensure smooth implementation of new and/or enhanced processes or systems.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or modify activities or procedures to increase efficiency and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and effectively identify and manage applicable money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), sanctions and reputational risks.
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years proven and progressive project management experience supporting assigned businesses or functions, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven problem-solving, lateral thinking, communications, project management, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the business and functional units supported, their products, services and processes and pertinent regulation impacting their delivery.
  • Fluency in French and English is a requirement
