Description:
Our client, is seeking a skilled Bilingual Deskside Support Specialist with strong troubleshooting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day IT operations, ensuring end users across multiple sites remain productive and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate all remaining workstations from all Canadian offices to new management solutions
- Provide deskside and remote technical support for approximately 400 end users across Canada
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Configure, image, and deploy new computers and devices.
- Support Office 365, and other productivity applications.
- Utilize remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Follow safety and security protocols when entering locations
Qualifications
- A degree/diploma in computer science or a related field
- Must be fluent in French and English
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar IT support or deskside technician role.
- Experience supporting Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows 11
- Experience with Intune for device management preferred
- Knowledge of remote troubleshooting tools and end-user support best practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (for occasional short-distance travel) required.
