Description:

RPIA, a respected investment management firm based in Toronto, is actively seeking a Bilingual Communications Associate to join its Marketing & Sales Enablement team. This is a full-time permanent position based on-site and plays a crucial role in shaping the bilingual communications strategy of the firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all French language content across the organization to ensure clarity, compliance with Quebec’s Bill-96, and seamless communication for Francophone audiences.

The role directly supports the firm’s efforts to engage effectively with investors, especially those in Quebec, and to uphold high standards of language quality and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proofreading & Translation Oversight: Prepare and review all French-language content translated by external vendors, including blog posts, brochures, slide decks, publications, and ad-hoc website updates.

  • Internal Communications: Assist internal departments and leadership with bilingual communications and support translation of internal policies and documents.

  • Website & Portal Management: Maintain and update the French versions of RPIA’s website and client portal.

  • Investor Reporting: Collaborate with Risk & Analytics and Client Relations teams to ensure investor reports are accurately translated and presented in French.

  • Project Coordination: Manage end-to-end content creation processes—writing, translating, proofreading, and publishing materials.

  • Graphic Design & Branding: Update templates for French versions of brochures, decks, and publications using Adobe tools.

  • Email Marketing: Handle French email templates and distribution for marketing and client servicing.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Bill-96 for all external and internal communications in French.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency in French and English, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities in both languages.

  • Strong grasp of business, financial, and technical terminology.

  • Outstanding communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, tone, and message consistency.

  • Excellent grammar and the ability to ensure the fidelity of translated content.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal relationships.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to update content via digital platforms.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, and CRM software.

  • Knowledge of HTML is considered an asset.

  • Post-secondary education in French, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.
