We are seeking a BI Advanced Analyst II- Corporate Security who is dynamic, curious, and results‑oriented. Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Design & Execution: Take ownership of detection and prevention coverage for suspicious transactions. Design, develop, test, and maintain robust threat detection strategies using Enterprise Management Systems and advanced analytics.
- Data Analysis & Engineering: Utilize SQL (GCP, Oracle, Teradata, SAS, Hadoop) to mine large datasets. Create and maintain dashboards (Tableau, SAP BO, Microstrategy) to visualize trends for diverse audiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively analyze the landscape to identify gaps in current threat strategies. Monitor volumes and impact, prioritizing new strategies that maximize security while minimizing customer friction.
- Innovation & AI Integration: Identify opportunities to apply AI/Machine Learning models to threat detection and define requirements for the AI development team.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong, effective relationships with Operations teams. Act as a bridge between technical data and business outcomes.
- Agile Delivery: Work within an agile methodology to deliver value quickly, adapting to the ever-changing tactics of criminals.
Critical Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, data structures), experience working with large enterprise data warehouses and the tools to process the data (GCP Big Query, Cloud Composer / Airflow, Dataflow / Beam, Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. You focus on results and the "bottom line" impact
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple deadlines autonomously.
- Exceptional spoken and written communication. You can tell a compelling story with data to an audience of managers and executives.
- You are energetic, open to change, and a collaborative team player. You take your work seriously but know how to have fun and contribute to a positive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Experience in Fraud Detection, Cyber Security, E-Commerce, or Telecommunications.
- Cloud & Big Data: Experience with Public Cloud (GCP, AWS) and distributed file systems (Hadoop).
- Visualization Tools: Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Microstrategy
- ETL & Scripting: Experience with ETL tools (GCP BigQuery, Dataflow / Beam), SQL, Python
- AI/ML Knowledge: Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Project Management: Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bilingual: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
