Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable services, data models, and APIs that support the core functionalities of the platform.

• Take full ownership of the software feature lifecycle—from initial design through deployment and maintenance.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, data, and design to ensure the delivery of seamless and intuitive user experiences.

• Develop internal tools and systems to improve team efficiency and platform reliability.

• Advocate for and implement best engineering practices with a focus on scalability, performance, and code maintainability.

• Contribute to shaping the long-term technical roadmap and make strategic system architecture decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5–7 years of backend development experience, preferably in high-growth or product-centric environments.

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API development.

• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivering robust, scalable solutions.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.

• Proficiency in Python or an eagerness to learn it.

• Previous experience in startup or scale-up environments with the ability to work independently and resourcefully.
