Azure Cloud Engineer

CloudVital is seeking an experienced IT professional for the position of Lead Azure Cloud Engineer. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure cloud computing technologies and infrastructure design, with a focus on both private and public cloud, networking, virtualization, security, and storage. The role involves working closely with large manufacturing clients and delivering cloud solutions that meet their needs.

As a Lead Azure Cloud Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.

• Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions, including resources like network resources, load balancers, application gateway, virtual machines, security, and more.

• Providing senior-level support for cloud infrastructure.

• Engaging with large manufacturing clients to deliver tailored Azure solutions.

• Contributing to the design and architecture of highly distributed applications to ensure availability and reliability.

• Managing on-premises VMware infrastructure.

• Ensuring best practices and frameworks in enterprise architecture and infrastructure.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in designing and deploying solutions in Azure.

• Experience with Azure resources, such as load balancers, application gateways, virtual machines, security, and more.

• Knowledge of security standards like CIS benchmark & PBBM policies, Log analytics, and EntraID.

• Experience managing on-premises VMware infrastructure.

• Expertise in cloud architecture, design, and implementation for highly distributed applications.

• Strong client engagement skills with large manufacturing clients.

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
