Automotive Technician

Description:

Mileage Auto Plus, an independent automotive repair facility in Thunder Bay, ON, is looking for an experienced and passionate automotive technician to join their team. The center specializes in Euro Car services (Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW) and is seeking someone who shares the same passion for cars and quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems

• Perform scheduled maintenance services

• Test and adjust units to specifications

• Complete reports documenting problems and work performed

• Coach and instruct apprentices

• Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Certificate/Licensed Trade required

• Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension, and Brakes) Trade Certification

• Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification

• Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate

Transportation/Travel Information:

• Own transportation required

• Valid driver’s license required

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle

Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 44 hours per week
