This role offers an opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for building business communities to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Assurance Practice.

As a Partner, you will be entrusted with leading the Privately Held Business Practice in the Barrie and Simcoe County Region while collaborating with the broader Southern Ontario Assurance Team. You will manage and grow the assurance practice, influence business strategy, develop strong client relationships, and mentor the next generation of leaders within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership, overseeing practice management and growth in the Barrie region.

• Deliver personalized, high-quality client service, guiding organizations through assurance complexities including compilations, reviews, audits, advisory, and tax services.

• Actively grow client relationships, anticipate market needs, and ensure delivery of tailored financial and advisory solutions.

• Mentor and coach emerging leaders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture built on excellence, agility, and respect.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients while driving strategic business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and a public accounting license (or eligibility to obtain one upon application).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or Taxation.

• 10+ years of assurance experience in a Canadian professional services firm, including experience leading complex audits.

• Proven ability to grow a practice, build strong client relationships, and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards.
