Associate Veterinarian

Description:

• Provide professional veterinary services according to practice policies and the highest standards.

• Consult with animal owners to diagnose and implement treatment or surgical protocols.

• Supervise lay staff and coordinate hospital operations to ensure profitability and quality care.

• Perform all usual functions of a veterinary practitioner, including surgery, patient records management, post-operative observation, accurate client billing, and case reviews with the Medical Director.

• Attend client and community events as required.

• Maintain professional standards through continuing education approved by the employer.

• Ensure work is carried out safely and effectively.

• Contribute to a work environment based on mutual trust and respect.
