Mastercard is seeking an experienced Associate Managing Consultant – Strategy & Transformation to join its Advisors & Consulting Services team in Toronto, ON. This is a hybrid, full-time role that blends strategy consulting, data analysis, and client advisory to help businesses solve complex challenges and unlock growth through innovative technology and insights.

As part of Mastercard’s globally renowned consulting practice, this role supports high-profile clients across industries such as banking, retail, payments, and digital commerce. The consultant will lead workstreams, develop strategic recommendations using Mastercard’s unique data and tools, and deliver impactful client outcomes. This position offers a high-growth environment, exposure to a global client base, and the opportunity to develop deep strategic and analytical expertise.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Impact:

  • Lead development of project deliverables and manage workstreams on complex consulting engagements

  • Develop data-driven strategies and transformation programs tailored to client needs

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with client managers, acting as a trusted strategic partner

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Develop and present structured, impactful business recommendations to clients

  • Organize and manage project activities, collaborating closely with junior team members

  • Lead internal and external meetings, drive project execution, and oversee project workflows

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of intellectual capital and strategic frameworks


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, strategy, or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience in consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or business intelligence

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with structured logic

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent multitasking skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (and local language, if applicable)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and travel internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing workstreams or project tasks in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Proven ability to mentor and coach junior consultants

  • Exposure to industry-specific challenges or strategy consulting frameworks

  • MBA or relevant master’s degree (preferred but not required)


Salary & Benefits:

💰 Compensation: CAD 100000 – 155000 per year (Monthly: 8333 – 12916)
