Assistant Manager

 

Description:

Cineplex is seeking a motivated Part-Time Assistant Manager to join their team in Saskatoon. This role involves leading theatre operations by demonstrating strong communication, organizational, management, and leadership skills. The Assistant Manager will help ensure smooth theatre operations with a focus on excellent customer service, sales innovation, and food service activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage theatre operations effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve operational issues.

  • Initiate innovative and creative sales and food service activities to enhance customer experience.

  • Ensure awareness and compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation applicable to theatre operations.

  • Maintain safe food handling practices (certification considered an asset).

  • Manage multiple activities and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Support employee development while meeting financial targets and reporting responsibilities.

  • Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

  • Excellent organizational, management, and leadership skills.

  • Strong computer aptitude.

  • Safe food handling certification is an asset.

  • Awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous management experience in a theatre, fast food, restaurant, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
