Description:
The Assembly Methods Engineer will be responsible for a range of tasks focused on the assembly and manufacturing of aircraft components. This role requires the development, revision, and approval of assembly instructions, manufacturing guides, and strategies while working closely with other departments to ensure efficient processes. The position involves ensuring the successful harmonization of engineering changes and assembly strategies across different teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Writing and revising assembly or manufacturing instruction guides for aircraft components.
Interpreting, verifying, and approving engineering drawings and related documents.
Developing and implementing assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components.
Collaborating with various teams, including Engineering, Parts Logistics, Quality, and Production, to implement engineering changes or assembly strategies.
Participating in periodic internal and external reviews.
Ensuring the ability to work with minimal guidance while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.
Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple teams effectively.
Skills Required:
Proficient with SAP and MS Office.
Ability to work with minimal guidance.
