Art Education Assistant

Description:

Interested candidates must have completed a minimum of one year of post-secondary education in a related field including education and/or visual art and studio practice.
In addition, candidates are expected to have:

• Reliable access to transportation as RiverBrink is not accessible by public transit
• Keen interest and background in working with children
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate several tasks at one time
• Computer skills required include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Power Point
• Retail skills
• The following skills would be beneficial but are not mandatory:
• Past work or volunteer experience with a public gallery, museum, historic site, or other public service organization
• Some teaching qualifications
