Description:
We are looking for an Application Support Analyst for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal
Role Overview :
This is a central and dynamic position as you will provide technical and functional support of the equity and derivative risk engine which allow our traders and risk analysts to manage their risks on a day to days basis. Good financial knowledge, great communication, social skills, and knowledge of ITIL best practices are essential as you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our applications.

What will be your day-to-day?
Missions
-Support the platform for back-office systems supporting front-office trading activities across North America, Europe, and Asia
-Monitor the CEQ global platform and take appropriate actions to ensure it runs properly
-Ensure service continuity and effective coordination with Paris and Bangalore support teams
-Provide functional and technical support to Front Office and Risk business partners
-Propose technical and functional solutions to improve relationships with business partners
-Ensure adherence to agile and continuous delivery methodologies
-Coordinate and execute deployment phases across different environments
-Present testing results to users and stakeholders
-Contribute to the design, deployment, and support of global applications for the Equity pricing chain
Profile
-5+ years of experience as a Application Support Analyst within a financial institution
-Strong SQL knowledge
-Ability to read and update shell scripts and work with Unix commands
-Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects
-Comfortable acting as the main point of contact for Paris and Bangalore support teams
-Strong willingness to learn, contribute ideas, and actively participate in team solutions
Nice to have
-Bilingual proficiency in English and French
-Knowledge of US or international financial regulations
-Experience or familiarity with financial products and pricing concepts
