Application Support Analyst

 

Description:

We are looking for a talented Application Support Analyst to serve as the frontline administrator and security gatekeeper for our core fleet applications (AssetWorks M5 and TMW Suite). Strong relationship-building and advisory skillsets will be key to success, as you will bridge the gap between IT systems and hands-on operational teams. You will work closely with Information Technology, Fleet Operations, Shop Technicians, and Dispatch teams to test configurations, manage security, and support shop-floor technology. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Systems & Integrations.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Testing & Change Management: Validate all configuration updates, front-end tweaks, and permission changes in test environments before production deployment.
  • Front-End & Tier-1 Support: Configure dashboards and screens for M5 and TMW Suite to maximize usability, while triaging incoming helpdesk tickets.
  • Access & Security Management: Own user profile creation, modification, and revocation, while regularly auditing Access Control Components (ACC).
  • Shop Floor Tech Support: Provide hardware and software troubleshooting for ruggedized technician tablets and FuelFocus fueling island controllers.
  • Operational Advisory: Partner closely with garage supervisors, dispatchers, and mechanics to translate system data into smooth shop floor workflows.
     

What We’re Looking For
 

  • Experience: 3+ years in application support, systems administration, or IT helpdesk (preferably within logistics, trucking, or fleet transit).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with AssetWorks M5 and/or TMW Suite; experience troubleshooting rugged Android devices in an industrial environment.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional relationship-building skills, an analytical mindset for security auditing, and a solid conceptual understanding of fleet maintenance workflows.
  • Bonus Points: Bilingual in English and French is highly desireable.
