Role Overview:

The Application Support Analyst - Wealth Management plays a critical role in supporting the delivery and daily operations of integrated technology solutions for Fidelity’s Wealth and Private Wealth businesses. This position blends technical analysis with operational responsibilities, ensuring technology effectively supports key business processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Solution Delivery Support:

  • Collaborate to define and document application requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.

  • Provide input to architects and technology leads for solution design.

  • Support data mapping and interface design for in-house and vendor system integrations.

  • Participate in system functional, integration, and regression testing.

  • Assist in developing test cases and validating defect fixes.

  • Support production release coordination and post-deployment validation.

Application and Technical Incident Support:

  • Provide incident support to business users, maintaining clear communication channels.

  • Collect and validate information for vendor support tickets; coordinate triage with internal and external teams.

  • Document root causes and resolutions for recurring issues.

Knowledge Management and Process Documentation:

  • Organize and maintain technology stack documentation and associated business workflows in Confluence.

  • Support data governance efforts, ensuring accurate records involving client PII data.

  • Update internal process documentation, incident handling playbooks, and SOPs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support, operations, or solutions delivery.

  • Experience in technology vendor management is an asset.

  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management operations.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with senior management.

  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, batch processes, and IT ticketing systems.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
