Application Delivery Analyst

Description:

PeopleToGo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Citrix & Application Delivery Analyst for a 6-month contract role in Calgary, Alberta, with a strong potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing Citrix environments, application delivery solutions, and desktop image management. This role requires a proactive IT professional capable of ensuring seamless application delivery for both Calgary-based staff and remote field users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in Citrix environments, ensuring high performance and secure application delivery.

• Support planned projects including business application updates, scripted package implementation in Citrix, SCCM, and Intune, as well as Citrix application monitoring via Splunk.

• Collect, evaluate, and implement Citrix enhancement requests from field staff.

• Contribute to major IT initiatives such as Intune upgrades, Windows 11 deployment, and Citrix modernization in AWS.

• Manage and maintain Citrix environments including VDI builds, releases, and security patching.

• Test, promote, and roll out desktop images and Citrix updates across non-production and production environments.

• Package, configure, and deploy applications through SCCM and Intune.

• Troubleshoot and support COTS applications, coordinating with vendors for configuration adjustments.

• Monitor performance, triage system issues, and resolve Citrix and Microsoft-related incidents.

• Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring 24/7 operational stability and end-user support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Citrix Administrator/Analyst.

• Expertise in SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, and Citrix (on-premises and cloud).

• Strong experience in Windows 10/11 and Server patching, compliance, and reporting.

• Hands-on experience with application packaging and deployment.

• Familiarity with Splunk for system monitoring and reporting.

• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work model with periodic on-site responsibilities.
