Description:
Iris Software Inc., a global IT services and consulting company supporting Fortune 100 clients, is seeking an Apache Flink Developer to join its growing team in Toronto, Ontario. This is a hybrid contract role offering the opportunity to work on advanced data streaming and cloud-based solutions for a high-profile financial services client.
The ideal candidate will bring 8–11 years of software development experience, with a strong command of Python and in-depth expertise in Apache Flink (pyFlink). Candidates should have proven hands-on experience working with streaming data pipelines, Kafka messaging systems, and AWS cloud services (with particular emphasis on AWS Managed Flink, Airflow, and DAG orchestration). Exposure to caching solutions such as Redis or Aerospike will be considered an asset.
In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable streaming data applications, leveraging cutting-edge tools and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust, real-time solutions that support mission-critical business processes for a Fortune 100 client.
