The client is a private, physician-owned multidisciplinary clinic in Vancouver focused on orthopedic, spine, and musculoskeletal pain management. Established in 2018, the clinic offers a collaborative work environment in a modern 5000 sq. ft. facility equipped with ultrasound and fluoroscopy technology. It is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC for Procedural Pain Management.

The clinic provides a broad range of services, including MSP Assessment, diagnosis, pain management procedures, physiotherapy, kinesiology, and treatments for post-traumatic headache, knee, and hip pain. It also serves as a teaching facility, training residents in physiatry, family medicine, and pain fellows.

The Anesthesiologist will be a key team member responsible for evaluating patients with acute and chronic pain, managing post-traumatic headache patients, and performing fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Physicians with broad interests are encouraged to apply.

Clinic environment:

• 12 physicians on staff including Physiatrists, Radiologists, Sports Medicine physicians

• Additional support from Neuropsychology, physiotherapy, kinesiology, and administrative staff

• Collaborative, collegial atmosphere

• Clinic hours: 8 am to 5 pm

• No on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia

• Specialist training in Anesthesia

• Pain fellowship with experience in fluoroscopy and ultrasound guided injections for spine, joints, and soft tissue

• Royal College Certification or Eligibility or American Board Certified

• MCCQE1 exam or Full Set of USMLE
