Description:
Labatt Breweries of Canada, a leading and historic brewer with over 175 years of heritage, is seeking a Commercial Performance Analyst to join its Sales Intelligence department in Toronto, Ontario.
This role plays a critical part in analyzing business performance and providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams. As part of the Commercial Performance team, you will work closely with marketing, sales, and insights stakeholders to drive strategic actions that optimize market share, volume, and segment performance.
Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses on share, volume, and segment performance, providing actionable recommendations.
Analyze the impact of key sales and marketing performance drivers including distribution, displays, pricing dynamics, brand health, media spend, and promotional features.
Translate complex insights into clear, visual, and action-oriented deliverables to align stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
Liaise with marketing, sales, and insights teams to ensure alignment on performance metrics and improvement strategies.
Monitor and report on competitive threats and market dynamics.
University degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2+ years of experience in field intelligence or insights within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
Experience in the beer, wine, or spirits industry is an asset.
Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Understanding of trade math (ROI, margin, markup, days inventory).
Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to work independently with tight timelines.
Results-oriented, strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Experience in data management and mining is an asset.
