The AI Consulting Senior Manager plays a critical role in shaping AI transformation, driving business workflow re-imagination across the organization using agentic AI capabilities and influencing the roadmap toward realizing OTPP’s AI ambitions. This advisory position is business facing, responsible for conducting workflow analysis to identify strategic AI use cases that enhance cycle time, operational efficiency, and decision quality. The successful candidate will translate these use cases into phased and near-production roadmaps for business areas, guide and support AI enablement initiatives, and apply deep expertise in business process automation within the dynamic world of enterprise AI.

This role requires seasoned consulting capabilities, business functional insight, and AI strategy skills that enable you to bridge business needs with AI solutions. Experience in asset management, financial services, or other related industries is strongly preferred.

Who You'll Work With

Reporting into the AI Centre of Enablement, you will mainly be collaborating closely with senior business leaders and their teams to shadow business workflows, facilitate workflow analysis and AI use-case identification workshops, make AI transformation recommendations and shape multi-phase AI roadmaps. You will also work hand-in-hand with the AI Enablement team to ensure coordinated enterprise AI engagement, adoption, and change management plans.

On a regular basis, you will partner with Technology and AI delivery teams to drive integration and connectivity across business and technology functions. You will also engage with external AI product vendors, peer organizations, and advisory partners to supplement internal knowledge and capabilities, ensuring high-impact ideation and informed build/buy decisions.

What You'll Do

Shadow, analyze and assess workflows, system architecture, data and decision flow, to identify opportunities to improve and automate workflows to leverage generative, predictive, and agentic AI capabilities or reimagine AI native workflows
Identify opportunities to incorporate agentic analytics into decision-making processes - leveraging structured and unstructured data to enable AI agents that monitor conditions and surface insights
Apply tech/functional skills to interpret business needs, translate AI use-cases into phased roadmaps for business areas, collaborating with technical experts to assess feasibility, develop requirements, translate use-cases into multi-phase AI roadmap (Foundation -> Automation / Decision enhancement -> Differentiation) with a product strategy
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and serve as their AI advisor - Influential leader that leads cross-functional activities across all stakeholder levels
Proactively stay abreast of market mature use-cases and AI products to inspire and inform use-cases. Identify required external contacts or partners to augment internal capability and capacity
Support enterprise prioritization of use-cases based on value, feasibility, change readiness
Guide & support enterprise AI adoption & enablement through: best-practice playbooks, new processes to ensure transparency of AI initiatives organization-wide, dashboards to track AI value / adoption and an active community of business AI practitioners
Identify cross-organization synergies, facilitating integration and high performance across AI and Tech
Assess automation economics by evaluating total cost of ownership (TCO), required investments, scalability, and expected value capture—ensuring sustainable enterprise impact.
An effective leader that provides guidance and coaching to several junior team members in the team
Accountable for determining the best methods for facilitating workflow analysis and AI ideation working sessions with the business

Accountable for recommending process improvements and high value and feasible AI use-cases with business stakeholders across all levels, using business and technical judgement with input from business/AI SMEs.

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, data science, information systems, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Deep expertise in business process improvement and automation assessment.
Understanding of production LLMs / agentic architectures / natural language processing, application integrations via. APIs, modern AI stacks.
Sound business and technical acumen, with demonstrated ability to quickly become familiar with unfamiliar businesses areas or technologies.
Analytical and organized mindset, with the ability to define metrics, track impact.
8+ years of experience in process improvement, data, analytics, AI, or automation ideally with consulting experience.
Proven ability to analyze enterprise workflows, data, system, decision touch points to identify automation or insight enhancement opportunities – and translate into improvements and technical use cases.
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes and communicate effectively with executive and non-technical audiences.
Communicate clearly across audience with varied levels of AI and data expertise.
Influence without authority, working across enterprise teams and levels.
Experience in finance or comparable industries.
