Description:

Arrow Workforce Solutions, on behalf of its client, is urgently hiring an experienced AI Architect for a high-impact 8-month contract role in Montréal, QC. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week on-site in downtown Montréal and offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale analytical and AI-driven initiatives.

The AI Architect will act as a trusted consultant and technical expert in AI solution architecture, with a focus on MLOps frameworks, big data environments, and real-time streaming systems. The role involves designing and operationalizing robust machine learning solutions, creating reusable artifacts such as libraries and frameworks, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an expert advisor in AI solution architecture and MLOps practices.

• Define and implement best practices in data preparation, model training, inference, document indexing, and agentic orchestration.

• Design advanced software architectures for new analytical tools and evaluate third-party components and libraries.

• Deliver comprehensive architectures for big data platforms and real-time streaming ecosystems.

• Establish and validate delivery strategies, ensuring rigorous quality, testing, and performance standards.

• Mentor and guide working groups, providing technical direction and leadership.

Requirements:

• 9+ years of IT experience, with a strong focus on software and solution architecture.

• Extensive expertise in AI, machine learning, and agentic AI, with proven experience developing reusable frameworks and libraries.

• Proficiency in Python, Databricks, Azure (including Azure OpenAI), and MLflow.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and analytical development best practices.

• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code), DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, orchestration tools, containerization, APIs/microservices, and real-time monitoring.

• Bilingualism: French proficiency (5/5) required; English is not required.
