Description:

The Prospr Advisor provides holistic Life, Health, and Wealth solutions to new and existing clients. This role directly contributes to Sun Life’s mission of helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. Advisors engage clients through phone and digital tools, offering tailored recommendations based on needs and goals. The role supports continuous improvement, personal growth, and professional development in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact new and existing insurance and investment clients

  • Provide holistic advice using phone and digital tools

  • Assess financial needs; recommend investment or insurance solutions

  • Support clients in retirement readiness using planning tools

  • Conduct risk assessments and align solutions with client profiles

  • Stay current with product and regulatory updates

  • Maintain MFDA and Insurance Advisor licensing across provinces

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Contribute to a creative, collaborative, client-focused work environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years relevant experience

  • Valid sales and service experience (insurance preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of retail insurance & investment products

  • Experience conducting business over the phone

  • Knowledge of Mutual Fund Industry, Compliance, Dealer Operations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities

  • Available Monday–Friday between 8am–8pm

  • Bilingualism (French & English) required

Additional Requirements / Assets:

  • Valid Life License (LLQP) or Québec Insurance of Persons license (1a)

  • CSC or IFIC course completed

  • CFP/Fin. Pl. designation

  • Call centre or outbound service experience

  • Knowledge of Sun Life products

  • Salesforce CRM experience
