Description:

Reporting to the Manager of the Appeals Secretariat , the IT Administrative Support is responsible for; ensuring that the integrity of data input into the Appeals Commission Electronic System (ACES) by performing regular auditing and quality assurance checks; maintaining the data in ACES and provide ACES support to all users at the Appeals Commission; generating reports and validating statistics and performance measures; disseminating the statistics and performance metrics to the appropriate bodies; and maintaining the Appeals Commission website. They would also be responsible for providing basic assistance and troubleshooting incidents in CRM, Access and Excel for the Advisor Office and the Medical Panels.

1. Statistics & Reporting Coordination
Ensure that reports are consistent with the business and business processes, and are ran on a regular basis. Statistics and performance metrics are validated and shared with the appropriate parties. This will be completed by being responsible for:

  • Having an intimate knowledge of Appeals Commission business processes and performance metrics and provide appropriate definitions of statistics.
  • Consulting with the various Appeals Commission user groups, to identify required reports and determine reporting requirements.


2. Appeals Commission Electronic System (ACES) Administration
Maintain ACES and provide ACES support to all users at the Appeals Commission by being responsible for:

  • Providing support to the Manager of the Appeals Secretariat to ensure that an effective power user program is maintained, updated and that on-going training and support is provided to ACES users (basic assistance, troubleshooting, one on one help).
