Reporting to the Manager, Finance & Administration, the Bilingual Administrative Assistant provides administrative, financial, and records management support to the Director, Manager of Finance & Administration, and staff in the Women and Gender Equity Directorate.

Essential Qualifications: (what we are looking for in your resume)

  • Recent experience providing administrative support services, including managing schedules and arranging meetings for multiple committees.
  • Experience providing financial supports such as reconciling accounts, contracts, accounts payable and travel expense reimbursements.
  • Experience using accounting platforms such as Quest would be considered an asset.

  • Effective, professional communication and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of basic financial accounting principles.
  • Strong proficiency with various computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

  • Highly motivated, enjoys providing exceptional customer service to clients in a busy team environment.
  • Ability to provide service in both English and French to the public.
