Performs general office duties such as answering phones, typing letters, filing, photocopying, receiving mail and packages
Performs various accounting duties such as payroll data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, keeps track of donations and issues official receipts, handles and reconciles petty cash, and other related accounting duties (e.g., bank deposits, government remittance and rebate forms)
Drafts and types correspondences or generates reports (e.g., letters dealing with administrative issues, dictation, acknowledgements); checks typing for accuracy, sorts and prioritizes typing assignments within general guidelines; researches and responds to difficult enquiries on behalf of the supervisor
Assists with annual budgets for the ministry unit under the supervision of Corps Officer; monitors budget expenditures to ensure compliance
Handles and ensures the protection of extremely confidential and sensitive employee/Officer, client and or program files
Maintains statistical databases
Schedule meetings, prepares agenda, and takes minutes and distributes
Helps in the preparation of paperwork for accreditation and annual reviews.
Keeps track of office supplies and orders when necessary
May recruit, coordinate, and assign work of support staff
Performs other duties as assigned
Assist other departments as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
The successful job applicant will have completed a minimum of up to two (2) years of post-secondary education with a Business Administration Certificate or Accounting Diploma
