Description:

Sécurité Médic enr., a Rimouski-based company with over 35 years of continuous expansion and a family-style management culture, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant / Accounting Clerk to fill a position opening due to retirement. This is a full-time permanent role (37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including verifying accounting operations, cash inflows, and daily reports, as well as reconciling bank statements. Key responsibilities also include compiling sales reports, managing client accounts by applying payments and following up on outstanding balances, and supporting client billing. On the supplier side, duties involve verifying inventory receipts against purchase orders and supplier invoices (ensuring correct quantities and pricing), recording payable invoices, and preparing payments. Additionally, the role covers managing and verifying inter-store operations between Rimouski and Matane locations.

The position requires someone with strong numerical skills, sound judgment, reliability, and trustworthiness. A DEC in Administration is preferred, and prior experience with Acomba software and Excel would be a strong asset.
