Administrative Assistant

 

Description:

Estrielec is currently seeking a versatile and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team in Sherbrooke. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset. This position is essential in supporting sales, managing administrative tasks, and updating both accounting and business data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the accounting team by:

    • Processing invoices and billing

    • Following up on customer accounts

    • Entering supplier invoices

    • Verifying balances with account statements

  • Perform various accounting-related tasks

  • Assist with inventory maintenance and updates

  • Support the sales team with:

    • Purchase order processing

    • Invoicing and returns

    • Handling phone calls and general sales coordination

Required Skills:

  • Strong skills in accounting and invoice management

  • Proactive and adaptable with a multitasking ability

  • Analytical thinking to track inventory and price variations

  • Effective communication to handle customer inquiries

  • Team player able to collaborate across departments

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in administration (DEC or DEP), accounting, or a related field

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel is an asset

  • English language proficiency is considered a plus

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or accounting role is an advantage
