Accounts Payable Technician

Description:

A reputable manufacturing and electric appliance repair company located in Pointe-Claire is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Technician to join their collaborative and inclusive team on a full-time, on-site basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable including collections, deposits, and related journal entries.

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable: process invoices, issue payments, verify order details, pricing, and taxes.

• Maintain and replenish office supplies (stationery, kitchen items) as needed.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy.

• Assist the controller with daily accounting operations and reporting.

• Communicate with clients via email and phone to resolve inquiries.

• Monitor and track purchase orders and payment statuses.

• Perform additional administrative and accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong proficiency in French (required).

• Advanced level of English proficiency (daily use for communication with suppliers across Canada).

• Minimum 2 years professional experience in accounts payable.

• AEX or DEC diploma in accounting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
