Accounts Payable Administrator

 

Description:

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our growing team in Vancouver! The Accounts Payable Administrator will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for processing the day-to-day financial operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and project job costing, as well as general administrative duties.
Your impact as an Accounts Payable Administrator
Accounts Receivable

  • Set up new customer account
  • Post sales order
  • Issue invoices
  • Assist sales team in collection
  • Follow up with customers on overdue invoices
  • Assist with annual financial audit and operational audits
  • Assist with any ad-hoc projects assigned by the Financial Controller
  • Liaison with many contacts from various departments on accounting related issues

Accounts Payable

  • Set up new vendor account
  • AP posting of all types of invoices
  • Assist bi-weekly payment run including preparing cheques, and sending payment remittance details to vendors
  • Monthly reconciliation of vendor statements
  • Assist with annual financial audit and operational audits
  • Assist with any ad-hoc projects assigned by the Financial Controller

Month End Duties

  • Perform monthly bank accounts and credit cards reconciliations for CAD$ and US$
  • Assist in monthly PST filings and quarterly GST filings

Year End Duties

  • Assist with annual financial audit and operational audit by providing backup documents for samples selected by the auditors
