Accounting Business Analyst

Description:

A leading company in its sector is seeking a Business Analyst – Accounting to support a system implementation project. The selected candidate will play a key role in coordinating the implementation, analyzing business requirements, conducting workshops with user teams, and preparing relevant training material.

This is a 6-month renewable contract based in Montreal with a hybrid work model. The position offers flexibility, competitive hourly pay based on experience and employment status (employee or consultant), and a chance to work on a complex and engaging project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map accounting and operational processes to identify areas for improvement

• Review and update the specifications (functional requirements document) as needed

• Oversee implementation of after-sales service, finance, and operations modules

• Engage with end-users to gather and understand business requirements

• Document processes clearly and accurately for reference and training

• Design and deliver training materials for system users

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• CPA designation is a strong asset

• Proven experience in system implementation projects

• At least 5 years of experience as an Accounting Business Analyst

• Experience in business process reengineering
