Accountant

Description:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing service company in Laval. In this full-time role, you will take charge of all aspects of our financial operations, including handling the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate records, and collaborating closely with management on key financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping

• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll

• Perform month-end closings and reconcile bank accounts

• Record and maintain journal entries

• Prepare and file GST/QST returns

• Handle accounts payable and receivable

• Reconcile credit cards and petty cash

• Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules

• Assist in preparing financial reports for management

• Manage government remittances and year-end filings

• Support external accountants with year-end file preparation

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting role

• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and payroll

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
