Description:

Directive Consulting, a performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech, is seeking a Performance Marketing Lead for a future opening. The role focuses on crafting high-performing paid media strategies for enterprise SaaS companies, using Directive’s Customer Generation methodology. This is a client-facing role involving strategy creation, account oversight, analytics storytelling, and cross-channel performance optimization across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more. The position offers remote flexibility across Canada and involves managing Paid Media deliverables, enhancing client visibility, and driving SQL-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead a portfolio of Paid Media accounts.

  • Act as direct support to client contacts.

  • Maintain weekly communication with vendors/partners to ensure alignment.

  • Drive referrals through strong client relationships.

  • Build quarterly strategies for clients.

  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.

  • Deeply understand client positioning and value propositions.

  • Confirm accurate lead routing within CRM systems.

  • Understand Programmatic campaign value.

  • Maintain high personal productivity and utilization.

  • Collaborate with Associate Director to achieve goals.

  • Execute and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.

  • Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and audience targeting to maximize ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency.

  • Experience with B2B SaaS/Tech clients.

  • Expertise in paid search & paid social (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).

  • Proficiency in advertising platforms & tools: Google Ads, FB Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  • Strong understanding of PPC principles.

  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data (Google Analytics, GA4, Excel).

  • Ability to drive results via OCT.

  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.

  • Strong storytelling and strategic communication abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work.

  • Willingness to travel once per year to visit clients.
