Description:

  • Relationship connector: experienced in relationship strategy and building to further develop account penetration leading to increased revenue opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Team champion: be a trusted advisor to the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) and account leadership team; influence and lead cross-functional teams on your account(s); and be a leader and active contributor withing the Client Account Management team
  • Opportunity enabler: Assist with identifying, qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities, and developing strategic and tactical plans to generate revenue while enabling the appropriate support team to execute
  • Gatekeeper: protect the Deloitte brand by ensuring quality and risk management standards are in place and executed
  • Performance manager: drive client centric sales and operational disciplines with Deloitte business and industry teams while holding a broad level of understanding of the client(s) in the selected portfolio
  • Account champion: develop a network within the Deloitte ecosystem and build a positive experience for practitioners from account onboarding to offboarding
  • Deliver differentiated client experiences: project manage initiatives by using the breadth of the global clients & industries assets (e.g. events, publications, workshops/labs, high profile speakers, etc.)

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 to 7+ years’ professional services experience as an account relationship and/or business development manager with experience in areas such as marketing, sales and pursuit management
  • Project management experience, facilitation skills and serving clients are assets
  • Proven experience working towards becoming a trusted advisor to senior leaders through experience in internal / external relationship building to increase account penetration leading to increased revenue opportunities
  • Success in playing a leading role within an account team framework and the ability to influence cross-functional teams (i.e. working effectively and teaming with Lead Client Service Partners, Service Line/Industry leaders, practitioners and other business development professionals)
  • Poised, executive presence, business acumen and high articulacy
  • An intermediate background and experience in public communications (written and verbal), project / program management, financial reporting, business marketing acumen, and supporting technology (e.g. Microsoft suite, collaboration tools, CRM)
