Account Manager

 

Description:

Emerson is actively seeking a dedicated and client-focused Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with clients using the DeltaV SaaS SCADA platform. This role focuses on account renewal, client satisfaction, and expansion opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing assigned accounts by understanding their business operations, addressing concerns, and identifying growth opportunities. The role requires direct involvement in software subscription renewals, strategic account planning, and performance tracking using Salesforce CRM. The Account Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Product Management, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing teams to meet client needs and deliver measurable outcomes.

Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to present technology insights to enterprise clients. Strong knowledge of Emerson’s DeltaV SaaS SCADA (Zedi) and experience in the Energy, Utilities, or OEM sectors will be an advantage. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and up to 25% travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage renewals and growth targets for DeltaV SaaS SCADA accounts.

  • Cultivate strong relationships by understanding clients’ challenges and goals.

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

  • Lead account performance reviews and maintain CRM updates.

  • Collaborate across departments to align solutions with client needs.

  • Ensure successful subscription renewals and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software account management, sales, or support.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.

  • Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Knowledge of DeltaV SaaS SCADA (Zedi).

  • Familiarity with Energy, Utilities, and OEM sectors.

  • Formal sales training and strong communication skills.

  • Conflict resolution and negotiation expertise.
